1. Agreement

By using 醒喇喂 WakeUpLa you accept these Terms & Conditions and enter into a binding agreement with Kwok Hei Iden Tang. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on iOS devices that you own or control, subject to Apple's standard terms.

3. ⚠️ Alarm reliability disclaimer

Alarms depend on your device working. Battery, storage, iOS permissions (notifications / AlarmKit), volume hardware, OS behaviour, force-quitting the app, and iOS updates can all prevent an alarm from ringing. Do not rely on this app as your only alarm for critical events — flights, exams, interviews, medication. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses caused by an alarm that did not ring, rang late, or was dismissed, or by any missed event.

4. Missions & physical safety

Physical missions (push-ups, squats, shaking the phone) are performed at your own risk: do them safely, stop if you feel unwell, and consult a doctor if unsure.

You are responsible for your surroundings when photographing or scanning; do not photograph other people without their consent. Hold your phone securely during the shake mission.

5. Not medical advice

Sleep stats and insights are informational only. The app is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat anything.

6. Subscriptions, Lifetime & free trial

WakeUpLa Premium can be purchased through your Apple ID in three ways: an auto-renewable yearly subscription at HK$288/year (including a 3-day free trial), an auto-renewable monthly subscription at HK$38/month (no free trial), or a one-time Lifetime purchase at HK$688. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

The 3-day free trial applies to the yearly plan only; the monthly plan has no free trial and is charged at confirmation of purchase
Yearly and monthly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends
You can manage or cancel the subscription anytime in your App Store subscription settings
Any unused portion of the free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription
Lifetime is a one-time purchase: it does not auto-renew and there is nothing to cancel. A single payment unlocks Premium permanently for the Apple ID used to buy it
Prices may change with notice; a Lifetime purchase already made is unaffected by later price changes
Refunds are handled by Apple

7. Accounts

Provide accurate information; you are responsible for your device and account. You can delete your account in-app at any time.

8. Acceptable use

No reverse engineering of the app
No abuse of the verification services (e.g. spamming the photo-verification API)
No unlawful use of any kind

9. Intellectual property

The app, its copy (including all roast lines) and its branding belong to Kwok Hei Iden Tang.

10. Disclaimer of warranties & limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is”, with no warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is capped at the amount you paid for the app in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Hong Kong law.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these terms; you may stop using the app at any time.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and any dispute is subject to the courts of Hong Kong.

13. Language

These terms are provided in several languages; in case of any conflict between versions, the English version prevails.
